Did I mention Josh's excitement over this diet thing! He is being very supportive but I feel bad for him, he is eating Easy Mac every night for a little extra. Thanks for hanging in there with me babe!
Oh and by the way I had to get up at 4:45am this morning to be at the Westin at 6:00 for a conference that we staff for. We had to make sure all of our staff showed up on time, dressed appropriately that sort of thing. No sleep and no food, great day!

New Addition
This is Dylan and she is a 41/2 month old boxer...so cute!
This is Hurley (Erin's other Boxer that is 1) and Dylan playing and getting used to each other.
Congrats Erin and Casey! I know you are so excited. Much braver than I am to have 2 big dogs to take care of but I am happy for you and can't wait to meet Dylan!
Spice Up Sandwich Nite...
I bought a round sourdough loaf (managers special for $1), deli turkey and ham, and provalone cheese. The recipe called for balsamic vinaigrette but I had Italian so I just used that.
You cut the top off the bread and scrape out the middle (you can save the inside for something else) as thick or thin as you want and cut into 4 wedges. Drizzle a little dressing on the bread, top and bottom. Layer your meats and cheeses (I drizzled a little more dressing in between some layers) and place the top back on. Bake it on 450 for about 10 minutes to heat it up and melt the cheese. Then I put lettuce, tomato, grey poupon and bacon on each one.
It was really tasty and again just a little variation from the typical sandwich, you've got to keep things interesting right?
Josh thinks I am a loser for blogging about sandwiches but at least I am blogging so you have something to look at and I have a reason to not do work this morning!

Beautiful Niece
Those of you that look at my families blogs have already seen this pic but the ones that don't I wanted to share this with you. This was taken on Kiley's first trip to the beach just last week. Lacy takes the most beautiful pictures and this one is just gorgeous! I am so blessed to have such beautiful nieces (see pics of Bella below).
Lazy weekend!
On Saturday I got my hair done and went to dinner with Brie. We became friends when I moved to Atlanta, she started working when I did so we became really close. She has since left and taken another job and I really miss seeing her at work everyday. We had a great time catching up with each other and I can't wait to do it again soon.
It was a nice relaxing weekend and I really enjoyed it. My mom will be coming to stay with me next weekend because Josh is off to Orlando for a week. He is going to CFA's annual seminar and I will miss him very much. Stayed tuned for hopefully a really funny picture of him...I'll explain later!
Where did my forehead go?
Thanks Chelsey

High Maintenance
(it really seemed to work)
Poor red face I hope Dozer doesn't mind that I am exposing him but this shows his bumps and redness the most- these bumps are all over his body. Poor guy!
And Josh thought I was high maintenance...well poor Dozer is having some sort of allergic reaction to something. It started on Tuesday with some hives (small red bumps) and a little hacking here and there. His face is all red and he has some scabs where he has itched so much. We took him to the vet this morning (I can't believe I actually went, for those of you that don't know I have anxiety issues with the vet from my experience with my last bulldog...but that is another post) to have him checked out. He is having an allergic reaction of some sort (duh) and the Dr said treating it is not the hard part it's figuring out what is causing it and eliminating that so it won't happen again is the hard part. So I am going to make some minor adjustments at home that the Dr suggested and we will go from there. He got a shot of cortizone and 3 different types of meds so should feel better soon but lets just hope this was a fluke. If he continues to react like this then we will have to move on testing for food allergies which can be very time consuming and potentially costly. Anyways yet another health issue, I guess that's part of having a bulldog right? Oh and he is def worth it!
