For some reason Dozer has a sore on his paw and during the day he has been licking it raw. We had to resort to his boot. We first bought these because he drags his feet when he walks and sometimes his nails get too short and will bleed. If you look close you will notice the fray on the end from where he drags it. Anyways, if anyone knows of a home remedy for helping his sore get better please let me know.
Also Dozer is leaving to go stay with his Granny for 1 week today. Hopefully he won't get into as much as he did last time. Dozer can't wait to come stay and cuddle with you Granny!

This is probably not the cause of the sore, but it might not hurt to ask your vet about it.. Our sheltie Daisy licked her feet constantly and we thought it was a nervous habit since she was always on edge anyway. To make a long story short she had some other complications and they actually found out that she had had diabetes all along. That is why her feet wouldnt heal and she licked and licked. She ended up going into diabetic shock by the time they found this out and she actually passed away. I am not saying that this will happen to Dozer or even if he has diabetes, but just something to ask your vet about. Daisy probably would have lived much longer if we had known earlier and were able to treat it. I am sure that it is nothing with Dozer. Hope he gets better soon! Poor thing!
I'm so sorry about Daisy...I will def keep an eye on Dozer!
