This weekend Josh and I attended our first Catholic wedding. It was an interesting ceremony that I'm glad I got to see. The reception was held at a beautiful hotel in Atlanta and we had a great time. Josh works with Robert and they have become good friends in the past 3 years.

Too Good to be True

Well it turns out that we were given some misleading information and we will no longer be adopting Tonka. We are very sad about it but still want everyone to pray for him and that he finds a loving home.

UPDATE: One of our long time family friends sister is going to adopt Tonka. They love English Bulldogs and even say that he looks like their first one so they are so excited. I think everything has worked out for the best.

Introducing Tonka!!!

Well this time next weekend Josh and I will be welcoming a new english bulldog into our home. Josh's family called this week to ask if we wanted to adopt a bulldog , they knew someone who was giving him away. His family worked a lot and traveled with their kids ball team so they just didn't have the time to give him and bulldogs do require lots of attention. Well this is exactly what happened when we got Dozer and he has been such an amazing blessing in our lives so we just felt like we couldn't pass this opportunity up. We are really excited to see how Dozer and Tonka take to each other. Our hope of course is that they become best friends and we are anxiously awaiting the moment when we all get to meet. Please pray for this transition in our lives. It will require more time, money, responsibility, cleaning, patients, etc., but if you've ever had an english bulldog then you know it's all worth it!!!

Girls Weekend!

On Friday night we took Chelsey out for some sushi and to watch a cover band here in Atlanta. We had lots of fun celebrating with you Chelsey!! On Saturday I drove to Nashville, hung out with Samantha for the day. We saw her reception site, it's going to be amazing!!! Then that evening we attended her first shower. It's was a huge couples shower and they got so many great gifts. I also got to see some old sorority sisters so it was great time!!!

Today I'm celebrating Chelsey's (Josh's sister) birthday. All the Brimer girls are heading to Atlanta for some fun. Then Saturday I'm heading to Nashville to hang out with Samantha and attend her couple's shower. Should be a great weekend, hope everyone has a fun and safe one!

July 4th Vacation

We've been in Knoxville since last Tuesday and had lots going on. Went to the mountains and lake, hung out with friends and family and had a great time. Enjoy the pics.

Saturday was Bella's 1st Birthday. They had a party for her up at the lake and tons of people came to celebrate. She was an adorable birthday girl and the party was so fun. Afterwards we went out on the boats to watch fireworks. Happy 1st Birthday sweet Bella.

Josh and I bought this little car and put all of the fabric on it, we wanted to do something unique for her. It has jewels on it and is lined with fur. We could not believe the reaction we got out of it. We already have 2 new orders. Most importantly Bella loved it and we won the "best gift award". Josh and I had so much fun making it for her and we so excited that she LOVED it so much!

Well as you can see we were busy but so excited to see everyone and celebrate exciting life moments! Hope you had a great 4th of July!

My other childhood best friend will be heading to the alter soon!! Travis popped the question last night on their one year anniversary at Hayley's favorite resturant, Naples. I can honestly say I've never see Hayley happier and Travis is such a wonderful guy. I am very happy for them both and can't wait for all the festivities!!! Congrats Hayley and Travis!!
